I grew up sketching out floorplans and doodling on blueprints. My father works in the new home construction industry, so I have grown up familiar with many aspects of design and construction my entire life. Naturally, I attended the School of Architecture for a degree in Interior Design from the University of Texas in Arlington. I graduated in 2006 Summa cum laude. During my time at UTA I was awarded several scholarships and won the Design Presentation award from the 2005 Robert Bruce Thompson Light Fixture Design contest. I participated in IIDA and was awarded membership into the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.
I began working with Real Estate agents while I was still in college designing flyers and doing administrative work while I attended classes, so investing my passion for design, natural ability, and extensive design training in the home staging field was a perfect fit. Upon graduating, I went to work for a local homebuilder as a new home Design Consultant helping new homebuyers design their homes and select interior finishes. In 2010 I decided to take on the most challenging job of all by staying home and raising my three precious boys, so I left my full time job and began doing freelance design work and professional Home Staging which sparked my love of Real Estate and desire to share in the excitement of helping buyers and sellers in this busy and eventful season of life. In 2017 I obtained my Texas Real Estate license. I find true satisfaction in being able to help buyers find their perfect home, as well as in helping sellers easily transition into their new homes.
I love to travel whenever I get the chance and look forward one day to spending much more time on a sailboat! I have a strong passion for art history and enjoy continually learning as well as teaching.
